Watergazer's Friend

"Uncle Taben! Uncle Taben!" The little blue hued cub squeaked excitedly as his uncle stepped through the portal that had just formed. Taben laughed and caught the cub as he was pounced.

"What has you so excited?" Taben replied with a large smile as he tussled his nephew's head fur.

"Daddy said that PurpleHeart came back as a dragonette! Is that true?" The taur-cubs hand paws bounced against his uncles chest as he himself bounced excitedly. "Is she still the same? Will she play with me?" Taben couldn't help but chicle again and look to the purple and blue dragonette on his shoulder.

"I think she's willing to Watergazer, just be gentle with her, she's not as big as she used to be." With nod from Taben the dragonette flew off with a small, blue taur cub squealing in delight as he ran after.

Watercolors and micron pens on 5x7 bristol board. The dragonette and Watergazer's eye are shimmery. This will be on display in the anthrocon artshow.

Watergazer and PurpleHeart belong to me. For those that follow the Clan life, Watergazer is the child of Kaelin (Taben's brother) and Firedancer (a chakat). He's got his mother's patterning (clouded lowpard <3) and father's coloring. Watergazer is one of two cubs from his litter but the one that seems to have gendered more towards the male side of things.
